2. What Data We Collect
We collect and process the following categories of personal data:
Account Information
Email address, name, company name, billing address, and payment method information (handled by Stripe, not stored by us).
Security & Audit Data
IP addresses, login timestamps, actions performed (publishes, deletes, policy changes), and scan results. Retention varies by tier.
Other Technical Data
Browser type, device type, request logs, and error logs. Collected automatically for troubleshooting and security.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the Terramantle service
- Process payments and send invoices
- Send service announcements and security alerts
- Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations
- Debug and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
4. Data Processors & Sub-Processors
We use the following third-party processors to help deliver the service. All have Data Processing Agreements in place:
- Cloudflare Inc.: Infrastructure & DDoS protection
- Zitadel: Identity and authentication
- Stripe: Payment processing
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active, plus:
- Audit logs: Per-tier retention
- Account data: Deleted 30 days after account cancellation, unless required for legal/tax purposes.
- Service usage logs: Aggregated analytics retained indefinitely; identifiable logs deleted per tier schedule.
6. Your Rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access (Article 15): Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification (Article 16): Correct inaccurate data. You can update most data in your account settings.
- Erasure (Article 17): Request deletion of your data (subject to legal and contractual retention requirements).
- Portability (Article 20): Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Restriction (Article 18): Ask us to limit processing while disputes are resolved.
- Objection (Article 21): Opt out of marketing and certain legitimate interest processing.

7. Cookies & Tracking
We use session cookies only to keep you logged in. We do not use marketing cookies, or third-party analytics that identify you personally. Cloudflare may set cookies for security purposes.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. If you believe your data has been compromised, please email security@planesailing.io immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post changes here and notify you via email of material changes. Your continued use of Terramantle constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
